Kb & Co- Review

Health is Wealth

Trying to eat as healthy as possible these days, and in the process have been going to places I rarely go to.

KB & Co are one of those places that for the price…would never usually go to. However, sticking to some sort of healthy lifestyle was out of options for an office lunch.

Had ordered the Coconut BLT with the kale salad. The imitation bacon consisted of smoked coconut which was a subpar effort for bacon IMO but everything else on this sandwich was pretty decent from the avocado to the date jam and hemp seed pesto. Kale salad was an ok side which to be fair was barely eaten.

I had also ordered the cookies and cream protein smoothie which absolutely slapped. Vanilla protein powder, almond milk, dates, raw cacao nibs, and almond butter. This is probably one of the best protein smoothies I’ve had to date and will probably go back just for it.

The star of my lonely office lunch was the green curry stew. This soup was packed full of vegetables and tasted great. Honestly, any curry soup is delicious and vegetables are best eaten in soup.

For this order, I had called in to pick up for some people at work. When I arrived I paid and tipped before even receiving my order….which kind of sucked tbh because they took an extra 20 mins to get my order too me after the time they said it would be ready. It really bugged me, and leads me to ask do you tip for takeout/pickup orders?

Sidenote….why doesn’t Kb&Co have prices on their online menu? It kind of bugged me as well. Pretending to be a high scale restaurant…pfft, you gave me a soup and sandwich.
